The new Junior Certificate will be a common paper so it is expected that changes are likely and we would like to represent our members views on any changes that are proposed. 		<description><![CDATA[John O&#8217;Connor will be coming to Galway to give a talk on the Leaving Cert. Business course. The talk will take place on the 20th of March at 7.30 for 2 hours aprox. He will be focusing on 3 main areas; • ABQ&#8217;s on units 5,6,and 7, • Taxation and • The EU. The meeting will be held in in the SAC Room (Room Ca110) in the Cairnes Building NUIG . Please see below for directions to the room. Could you also spread the word as we are still trying to build on our data base of business teachers. The J.E. Cairnes School of Business &#038; Economics is located on NUI Galway&#8217;s North Campus, in the Cairnes Building on the banks of the Corrib River. By car Approaching from West Galway (N59) •On entering Galway, you will pass through traffic lights in Dangan (Westwood Hotel is to your right) •Continue on, passing Corrib Village (Baile na Coiribe) on your left. After another 200m, you will come to the NUI Galway gate. On your left inside this gate you will see a three-storey building with Georgian windows to which has been added a modern extension; this is the Cairnes Building (follow on-campus signs for &#8220;Aras Cairnes / Cairnes Building&#8221;). Approaching from all other main routes (N6, N17, N18, N83, or N84) •On approaching Galway, follow signs for Clifden N59. •When you reach the Bodkin roundabout (next to the entrance to the Galway Shopping Centre), continue in the direction of Clifden N59. •After crossing over the river Corrib, you come to a crossroads (next to Statoil garage) &#8211; there is no right turn allowed here. Instead, continue 200m through the crossroads to the next roundabout, do a full turn and come back to the crossroads, then turn left. •Proceed slowly for about 100m. The new main entrance to NUI Galway is on your right. •Immediately inside the gate, you will now see the Cairnes Building &#8211; an original 1930&#8242;s building with Georgian windows to which has been added a modern extension (follow on-campus signs for &#8220;Aras Cairnes / Cairnes Building&#8221;).]]></description>
